After assessing your mattress and sleep needs the next step is arming yourself with knowledge.  The Bedding Experts has been listening to shopper's questions and providing good information for an informed mattress purchase since 1983.

Q: Where are The Bedding Experts stores located?
A:

We currently have over 70 stores in Northern Illinois, Northern Indiana, Chicago-land, and Southern Wisconsin.

Q: What are the payment options The Bedding Experts offers?
A:

The Bedding Experts accepts major credit cards, cash, checks, certified checks, and also can provide financing.  

Credit cards include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Discover.  

Financing options include a zero interest financing option for qualified financees up to 48 months.  Additionally instant credit options are available for financees with little or not credit or poor credit.   



 

Q: Do you offer a 30 day comfort guarantee?
A:

Mattress manufacturer's do not offer comfort guarantees on their mattresses. Retailers who do offer comfort guarantees are taking back mattresses and re-sending them out to customers. To ensure that you get a factory-sealed and fresh mattress at The Bedding Experts we do not offer a comfort guarantee on mattress products.

The exception to this policy is Tempur-Pedic. Tempur-Pedic does allow customers to exchange a mattress within the first 90 days of owning it. Please feel free to call us or visit any store for details about Tempur-Pedic's exchange policy.

Q: Do you take old bed frames too when removal the old mattress?
A:

For local Chicago-land area deliveries we can take the old bed frame as part of our return services. For out-of-state orders we do ask that the client disposes of their mattress set & frame locally.

Q: I purchased a mattress set. Now I see the same mattress and box spring advertised cheaper. Does this qualify for a price guarentee?
A:

Yes, we have a 60-day price guarantee that includes our advertising as well as the advertising of our competitors. If you believe that this is the case for you please call your local store or customer service at 866-395-5511. Thanks you!

Delivery Questions

Q: What times and days do you offer delivery?
A:

At The Bedding Experts we want to provide the easiest delivery services possible.  So we deliver everyday with short time windows.  Our experienced delivery staff takes requests and special situations very seriously.  We setup and remove old bedding.  We also have evening deliveries and of course deliver on Saturday AND Sunday.   
 
You can rest assured that The Bedding Experts will deliver your new mattress set efficiently, quickly, and in good condition while not taking up your day to do so.  

Q: Do you take back old mattresses?
A:

The majority of our customers have us take the old mattress away.  The removal is Free.

We hate to see mattresses on the curb to be sent to a landfill when they can be recycled.  Please let us take care of the removal of your old bedding.  

Q: What does delivery include?
A:

For Northern Illinois, Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin we offer free delivery, setup, and removal of an old mattress set.

Q: If I place an online order, when do I get my delivery?
A:

If you live in the greater Chicago area, we offer delivery as soon as next day depending on when you order the product and if the products are in stock.

At the latest we will call you to schedule delivery the day after you place the order. If you want to schedule immediately or if you need a same day delivery please call a store location near you OR 866-395-5511 to speak to one of our customer service representative.  For customers outside of the Chicago area, we take 5-10 days from when you place the order to deliver your products.  

Q: I need to change my delivery date. Who do I contact?
A:

You can contact our customer service department at 866-395-5511 to reschedule any orders.

If you purchased from a store location, please contact the store you purchased from directly.

Q: I have a delivery scheduled, but my building is asking for a certificate of insurance from the delivery company. Can you help me with this?
A:

It is normal for a condo to request that our delivery personnel provide proof of liability insurance. All of our delivery personnel understand this and have the required certifications.

Rarely a condo building will want to have an official copy of the liability insurance document kept on file for their records. Our customer service department can assist you with this. Please call 866-395-5511 with the fax number for your condo office or their phone number for us to contact them directly.

Q: I recently purchased and was told delivery is $50, however your website has free delivery. Is it possible to get free delivery if I didn't order online?
A:

Many of our mattress sets have free delivery, but not all of them. Every mattress at our stores is labeled if it comes with free delivery and our website matches that.

That being said our stores may have special offers that differ from our website. A store manager may also negotiate a price that is lower without free delivery for a mattress that normally includes free delivery.

Q: What is your policy on tipping?
A:

Our delivery teams would greatly appreciate a tip, however they should only be tipped if they did an outstanding job. Our delivery teams are professionals. We expect our delivery teams to exceed your expectations. Our delivery teams average 12 years of mattress delivery experience, they polite, professional, and friend, and they are also well paid. Some of our most veteran employees are our delivery drivers. So, we encourage tipping, but only if we provide outstanding service that exceeds your expectations. Thank you for the question!

Mattress Questions

Q: What size mattresses do you carry?
A:

We carry any mattress size you need.  Many of our brands can be specially ordered to a custom size if needed.  Semi (truck) beds, Twin XL XL, and antique bed sizes are some requests we have helped people with in the recent past.    

That being said we stock twin size, full size, queen size, king size, and california king size(limited) for same day and next day delivery.

Q: Do I use a box spring with a Tempurpedic mattress? Can I use my current headboard, footboard and frame?
A:

TempurPedic mattress sets come with a highly durable foundation. There are no metal spring in the foundation. It is a flat, strong, unyielding surface making sure that you get the most out of the TempurPedic mattress.

We do not recommend using an old box spring with a TempurPedic mattress. TempurPedic mattresses are made to be used with a flat, solid, unyielding surface. A traditional box spring is springy and does not provide the type of support required by the TempurPedic for their warranty.

Headboard and Footboards can definitely be used with a TempurPedic. Platform beds can also be used.

We encourage our clients to purchase a new bed frame.  Mattresses have become much heavier over the last 10 years and an old frame many times does not have the level of support needed for these heavier mattresses.

Q: I recently purchased an Platform Bed with Slats. Do these require a box spring?
A:

Most Platform Beds with Slats will work without a box spring, however we encourage the use of a box spring with slat based systems because it offers more support.

If you are thinking about using a bed for 8+ years it is best to air on the side of caution. That bed will go through a lot of wear and the stronger the support your mattress has, the longer it's comfort life may be.
